Paul Troxel is the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services – 9-1-1 Emergency Communications Branch Manager, providing call routing and delivery for 9-1-1 and 9-8-8 traffic, emergency communications, and Emergency Support Function 2 (ESF2) statewide. Paul joined the Cal OES team in March 2018 as the 9-1-1 Program Manager. Previously he worked for the Placer County Sheriff's Office as the Dispatch Services Manager and the Sacramento Police Department Communications Division as the Operations Manager. Paul has been active in the 9-1-1 community for over 25 years. In 2015, Paul was appointed by Governor Brown to the California 9-1-1 Advisory Board. Paul also served five years on the California Chapter of the National Emergency Number Association Executive Board. Paul is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, 1986-1993. Paul has a Bachelor of Science degree in Emergency Services Management.
